In this show, The Newmark Gallery San Francisco brings together 58 Tablettes listing the 90720 anagrams of the name CAMBIAIRE, with a complementary DVD "MYNAMEMYNAMES", and 11 wooden constructions "Small Blocks 3D".

However, from a perspective of form, these two series of works are quite different.

The first displays small black printed words in columns. Stepping back a bit, these Tablettes seem mere rectangles which stretch out their grey and strict perspective.

The second shows points of strong coloured bursts confined in the outline of their structures.

But, beyond this visual contrast, these works show the same artistic logic that uses specific software in order to realize a new art form from the concept of difference and repetition.

They originate from the same artistic modus operandi which results in works more objective, more impersonal and almost more organic.

They are here together under the concept of Cycle.

In the Tablettes the word CAMBIAIRE carry out itself in the finished cycle of all the possible permutations of his nine letters.

In the Small Blocks 3D, it is the same virtual structure which every time comes into existence, generating in an unfinished cycle always similar and always different forms.
