“On an esoteric level my work is about light – that essential condition of seeing.  In this series the focus is on the quality of dawn and dusk – just enough light to outline the greater shapes, to softly differentiate colors, leaving out everything insignificant and trivial. It is the time of day when Nature gets in touch with her “inner minimalist”.   In my opinion a negotiation between abstraction and reality is inherent in this light’s quality.
